If you get this message...
... it is because there is no PLANT NAME listed in the heat penetration file you are using.
See example of this below....
When you click on "Calculate Process" button after plotting a heat penetration file, the CALSoft software attempts to create a Process Calculation entry into a database referred to as the "ProCAL" database. One of the fields in the ProCAL database is PROCESSOR name. This comes from the field in the heat penetration file called PLANT NAME. If the heat penetration file does not have the "PLANT NAME" listed (if it is blank), this will cause the error shown above when the software attempts to create a record in the ProCAL database.
To correct this...
- Open the heat penetration file
- Enter a "Plant Name" to this field
- Then click SAVE to save the file.
- Then try again to do the calculation again... click BALL SUMMARY button, then click the CALCULATE PROCESS button
- The software should successfully create a record in the ProCAL database and open the Process Calculation section.
