The Can Center Temperature feature provides the ability to calculate Container Center and Mass Average Temperatures. This tool could be invaluable in evaluating process deviations, or for assessing the container’s center temperature at the end of cooling.
This feature is available in the "Calculate" section of the Calculate Process Tab.
Note: All fields must be filled with appropriate values.
- For Simple heating products, these fields must contain a value: jh, fh, jc, fc, Retort Temperature, Initial Temperature, Cooling Water Temperature, Ball Formula Method Process Time (Bb), and Cooling Time.
- For Broken heating products, the above fields and the f2 and xbh fields must be complete.
Once the fields are filled, click "Calculate" to see the results.
Click "Print" to generate and display a Can Center Temperature Calculation Report. You can then print the report to your printer, or you can click the button in the upper left-hand side of the page and export the report to different formats (PDF, Excel, Word, RTF, etc.).
