During Data Collection, CALSoft enables you to enter "Event" readings during the Temperature Distribution test. To enter these events, use the buttons and boxes at the top of the screen during data-collection.
When the following events are reached, you may choose the appropriate box, click the button, and CALSoft will stamp the current time. However, you may edit the time accordingly. You can record this information for the following events:
Drain Closed:
You can specify the time that the Drain was closed by selecting the "Drain Closed" button. The time the button was pressed will appear in the box. The Drain Closed box can be modified to update this value.
Vent Closed:
You can specify the time that the Vent Valve was closed by selecting the "Vent Closed" button. The time the button was pressed will appear in the box. The Vent Closed box can be modified to update this value.
@ Process Temp:
You can specify the time that the Process Temperature was reached by selecting the "@ Process Temp" button. The time the button was pressed will appear in the box. The @ Process Temp box can be modified to update this value.
Cook Start:
You can specify the time that the Cook Phase started by selecting the "Cook Start" button. The time the button was pressed will appear in the box. The Come-Up Time will stop counting, and the current phase time will be displayed under "Cook." The cook start time can be changed at any point during the test, as well as after data collection ends.
Cooling Start:
You can specify the time that the Cooling Phase started by selecting the "Cooling Start" button. The time the button was pressed will appear in the box. The Cook Phase Time will stop counting, and the current phase time will be displayed under "Cool." The cooling start time can be changed at any point during the test, as well as after data collection ends.
* CALSoft will alert you when all the free leads have reached the target Process Temperature (which is displayed to the right of the phase times, along with the target vent temperature). This alert will appear next to the Target Values, and will say "All Free Leads have reached the Target Process Temp," and the data collection screen will turn orange.
