Scan CALPlex: Test the data-collection setup by Scanning the CALPlex datalogger once to see what the readings are, or select the Multiple Scans checkbox and scan the CALPlex multiple times. This can help you test your data collection equipment setup prior to formally starting the test. Click "Set Countdown" to delay the start of data collection for a certain amount of time.
Scan Rate: The number of seconds that CALSoft waits between scanning the CALPlex datalogger for temperature readings.
Lead Locations: Record or "map" the location of your Temperature Distribution leads in the retort. (NOTE: before you can use this feature, you must have set up the retort design on the Test Documentation screen)
Calibration File: Create or apply calibration offset factors.
Start: This option will begin the Temperature Distribution test. The timer for the test will start and data logging will begin.
