All Heat Penetration data files are saved with the extension ".CHP".
When creating a new HP file prior to data collection, CALSoft will ask you to name and save the file. The file name defaults to the date and sequential number indicating the number of tests you have run that day. The format is YYMMDD##. For example:
The first test run on December 15, 2019 will be named... 19121501.chp
Upon first use of CALSoft, these HP data files are stored by default in the CALSoft subdirectory titled "Data." However, you may choose another location to store your HP data files.
