The Time/Temperature section allows you the ability to view and print the temperature data that was collected during the Heat Penetration test.
- By default, only Thermocoupled Containers and Free Leads are displayed in the grid ("BAD" leads and "OPEN" channels are not displayed by default).
- Click the checkbox "All Leads" to display all 32 channels.
- Click the checkbox "Clock Time" to display the time-of-day ("clock time") column next to the elapsed test time ("time") column.
- If changes to the data were made, the "Review Modified Data" button will be shown... click this button to see the changes you made, including the original value and changed value.
- Click on the "Time" column heading to sort the time from ascending to descending.
- Above each channel number is a graphical indication of the TYPE of lead (Free Lead or Thermocoupled lead).
- Free Leads are also shown as BLUE columns to help differentiate them from Thermocoupled leads.
- Click the checkbox "Annotate" and enter a temperature and click "Update" to see when the thermocouples and free leads reached the temperature you entered (when a temperature reading is at or above the entered temperature, the box will highlight and the temperature will be bold).
- Use the "Temp" and "Lethality" options to show either temperature or lethality as the data.
- Use the "Delete Scan" button to delete a scan (row) of data in the file. (Note: Use Reset Start/End Time to delete scans from the start of the file.)
- Use the "Reset Start/End Time" button to delete one or multiple rows from the Start or End of the Data File.
- Use the "Clear Channel" button to clear all data for a specific lead (column).
- Use the "Check Zero Scans" button to check for any zero readings in the file. This utility allows you to replace the zero value with another value. Also, if a Thermocoupled lead or Free Lead contains bad data (for instance, if the whole column contains zeros), this utility will change that lead to "BAD" or "OPEN."
- Use the "Export" button to export the data to a .CSV file.
- Clicking the "Reports" button gives you the option to view and print any of the following reports:
- Temperature Data Report prints the Time/Temperature data for the file.
- Lethality Data Report prints the Lethality data for the file.
- Accumulated F Report calculates the General Method F for all of the leads in the file.
- Lethal Rate Report returns the Time/Temperature/Lethal Rate/Accumulated Lethality for a selected Lead.
