Within the Preferences window, click the "Collect" tab to access the following preferences:
- COM Port- Specify the default COM port you would like for reading your datalogger when connected via USB. Click "Detect" to check for a datalogger connection.
- Beep During Data Collection- Check this to have CALSoft make an audible sound ("Beep") after each scan during HP or TD data collection.
- Default Ref Temp for Calibration- This is the default reference temperature used when calibration offset factors are being collected/captured.
- Delay the Start of Data Collection- Check this is to delay the start of HP or TD data collection, and enter a time (hh:mm:ss) that you want to wait until data collection begins. This will give you time to synchronize the start of data-collection in CALSoft with the start of the retort.
- Log Entries Labels- Create/edit the default labels you would like to have available during the Log Data feature of data collection.
- Log Entry Reminder- Check "Reminder to Add Log Entries during Data Collection" to have CALSoft remind you during data collection that log entries need to be added. Specify the interval you would like to have in between reminders.
- Collect HP: Default HP Free Lead Channels- This is where you can set which leads you would like to default to free leads for a new HP data collection file. Click "Change Default Free Lead Channels" to open the "Collect HP: Set Default Free Leads" form, and then check/select the channels you would like to have for your default free leads (click "Apply" and the new defaults will be set).
